Prof. Dr. Tan Maw Pin

Prof. Dr. Tan Maw Pin is Professor of Geriatric Medicine and Head of the Geriatric Medicine Unit at the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. A consultant geriatrician and internationally recognised researcher, her work focuses on dementia, healthy ageing, falls prevention, frailty, and cognitive health.

She leads several national and international research programmes on ageing and serves on global collaborations in dementia prevention and healthy longevity. Professor Tan is President of the Dementia Alliance of Malaysia and has contributed to the development of international guidelines on falls prevention, while actively advancing evidence-based, person-centred care for older adults.
