Dr. Soobitha Subenthiran is a highly accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in clinical practice and medical research. She has established herself as a leading figure in clinical and molecular medicine research, with over 130 citations to her name. She has served as the head of two National Institute of Health (NIH) funded clinical trials and is a published author and reviewer for indexed international medical journals. Additionally, she has been invited as a guest speaker at numerous medical conferences.
Moreover, Dr. Subenthiran is a consultant and reviewer for drug discovery and marketing programs under the New Key Economic Areas (NKEA) of the Prime Minister’s Office. She also serves as a reviewer for technology grants under the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOSTI). Her expertise extends to advising local pharmaceutical companies on Ministry of Health requirements for product registration and developing effective strategies for obtaining government grants for product development and marketing.
Dr. Subenthiran’s contributions to the field include her involvement in the development of the first edition of Good Clinic Practice (GCP) inspection guidelines for the National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau (NPCB) under the Ministry of Health. She has also contributed to the development of Herbal Medicine vocabulary for the Department of Standards, Malaysia.
