Presentation Abstract

Artificial Intelligence & the Future of Neuroscience: AI Tools in Brain Health

Day 4 · 23rd August 2026 · 4:30 PM

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the field of neuroscience, ushering in a new era of precision, scalability, and deeper insight into brain function and disease. This presentation explores the expanding role of AI-driven technologies—including machine learning, deep learning, and advanced neuroimaging analytics—in enhancing our ability to diagnose, monitor, and treat neurological and psychiatric conditions. From early detection of disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke to improved classification of mental health conditions, AI is enabling faster, more accurate, and data-driven clinical decision-making.

The session will also examine how AI supports the development of personalized brain health strategies by integrating multimodal data, including genetics, imaging, behavioral patterns, and real-time physiological signals. Emerging applications such as brain–computer interfaces, digital biomarkers, and AI-assisted neurorehabilitation will be highlighted, demonstrating how technology is not only improving patient outcomes but also reshaping the way neuroscience research is conducted.

In addition, this presentation addresses the critical challenges accompanying AI adoption in brain health, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, interpretability, and the need for robust clinical validation. Ethical considerations and regulatory frameworks will be discussed to ensure responsible and equitable implementation.

By providing a comprehensive overview of current innovations and future directions, this session aims to offer valuable insights into how AI is poised to redefine neuroscience, accelerate discovery, and transform brain health management in the years to come.
