Presentation Abstract

Qigong for Brain Health & Longevity: Ancient Movement, Modern Neuroscience

Day 1 · 20th August 2026 · 5:30 PM

Qigong enhances brain health by combining slow movements, deep breathing, and focused attention to reduce stress, improve mental clarity, and boost cognitive function. Studies suggest it increases blood flow to the brain, supports neuroplasticity, and may reduce risks of cognitive decline, making it a valuable natural method for mental longevity.

Studies have also shown many benefits to other organs systems that may improve overall longevity.

Qi (Life Force) as the main driver of the healthy effects of Qigong is not yet recognized by science. Studies suggest that it is a combination of several EMFs (electromagnetic frequencies) that can influence cells and organs. When Qi is understood, much more of the understanding of the health and healing effects of Qigong will be known.
